SeaDex (releases.moe) — best-release recommendations for anime, lookups by AniList ID.

SeaDex is a community-curated index of the "best" anime releases, backed by a public Pocketbase API at https://releases.moe. This model fetches a SeaDex entry for an anime and normalises it into best + alternative releases (release group, tracker, infoHash, file list, total size).

Model @magistr/seadex methods:

  • lookup-by-anilist-id — fetch the SeaDex entry for an anime by its AniList ID.
  • lookup-by-title — resolve a title to an AniList ID via the public AniList GraphQL API, then fetch the SeaDex entry.
  • lookup-many — fan-out: look up an array of AniList IDs in a single execution (one entry resource per input ID plus a summary), avoiding per-call lock contention.
  • render-upgrades — set filter markers (year, status, minScore) consumed by a companion upgrades report.

2026.08.02.2

Relocates the @magistr/seadex-upgrades report from the main swamp repo into this extension so the workspace becomes its single source of truth. model.version / manifest.yaml bump 2026.08.02.12026.08.02.2, with an identity upgrades[] entry (upgradeAttributes: (old) => old — no resource schema change).

  • Added extensions/reports/seadex_upgrades.ts — copied verbatim from the already-fixed main-repo version. Renders anime with available SeaDex best releases, scored/sorted by user metadata (userScore/userStatus/ userSeason/userYear) passed in via lookup-many. Reads the durable upgradeFilter marker resource (written by render-upgrades) as the authoritative filter source when present — it persists the last-requested filter across report runs regardless of which method triggered the report — falling back to methodArgs only when no marker resource exists (e.g. an older seadex model that predates the marker).
  • manifest.yaml gains a reports: section listing extensions/reports/seadex_upgrades.ts (the bundling list); model.reports in extensions/models/seadex.ts already declared ["@magistr/seadex-upgrades"] (the model's require list) — both are kept in sync.
  • Added extensions/reports/seadex_upgrades_test.ts — stubs dataRepository to pin the marker-present-overrides-methodArgs precedence and the no-marker-falls-back-to-methodArgs behavior described above.

Release 2026.07.16.2 — align model versions with manifests

Maintenance release across the @magistr extensions. For most packages this carries no functional change: the only edit is the model's version: field, brought back in line with its manifest version so the published model type version and the package version no longer drift.

Functional changes in this release are limited to:

  • anime-cron: normalizeTitle now strips a ": subtitle" suffix and a trailing parenthesized year before comparison, fixing dedup false-misses where the torrent title carries a subtitle or year that the AniList romaji does not.

  • arckit: first publish. Standalone ArcKit port — a 12-phase architecture governance state machine with 65 bundled templates, driven by a bundled skill.

Also tracks three extensions (kaiten, observability-agent, music-library) that previously existed only as untracked working-tree directories, recovered from stashes.
