Near-Earth asteroid close-approach data from NASA's NeoWs (Near Earth Object Web Service) API — "what's flying by Earth this week."
One method, feed: every asteroid with a predicted close approach to Earth within a date range (max 7 days, NASA's own cap), with size, velocity, miss distance, and a potentially-hazardous flag per object.
Read-only, host-locked to api.nasa.gov. No signup required — apiKey defaults to NASA's public DEMO_KEY (30 req/hour, 50/day); bring your own free key for the standard 1000/hour limit. An exhausted retry budget or in-body NASA error degrades to an errors entry and an empty result rather than throwing; an invalid date range (inverted, or >7 days) throws immediately since that's a caller mistake, not degraded service.
