Defect studio serve has no favicon. Browsers request /favicon.ico and get a 404 with a JSON body, and the page <head> has no <link rel="icon">, so the tab shows the browser's generic icon. With studio open next to other tools, its tab is hard to find.

The served HTML has no <link rel="icon">

Suggested fix Ship an SVG icon with the existing /assets/ and reference it with <link rel="icon" type="image/svg+xml" href="/assets/favicon.svg">. Also answer /favicon.ico (or redirect it), since some clients request that path whatever the page declares. The icon is same-origin, so it passes studio's Host/Origin and CORP checks unchanged.

Thanks @sntxrr for reporting this! We shipped: Ship a new simple SVG favicon with the stagecraft studio page: add studio/src/favicon.svg and a rel=icon link in index.html, teach studio/build.ts to embed .svg files, answer /favicon.ico in handleStudioRequest with the same SVG, regenerate the embedded assets, add server and asset tests, update the DESIGN.md route table and bump the manifest.. The fix has been merged and a release is on its way. We appreciate your contribution to swamp.
