#3412 README, design docs and agent-constraints examples still teach swamp model commands
Opened by zack · 10/13/2026· Shipped 10/14/2026
Summary
swamp behavior is the preferred spelling of swamp model (swamp-club#3265, swamp-club#3331), and the skills and generated agent guidance were moved to it in swamp-club#3332. The README, the design docs and two agent-constraints files still use swamp model … in their examples, so a reader learns the legacy spelling from them.
Found in an audit of the two command groups (see also swamp-club#3409). Docs only; no code change.
Stragglers found
Line numbers are from the audit and may have drifted.

To check rather than change blindly
Skill eval files contain model-spelled queries: .claude/skills/swamp/evals/routing_evals.json, trigger_evals.json, guide_sufficiency_evals.json, and .claude/skills/swamp-getting-started/evals/trigger_evals.json. Some may be deliberate cases that test routing of the legacy spelling. Keep those, and make sure the behavior spelling has equivalent coverage.
Mapping
Use the table in design/primitives/behaviors.md (Compatibility): model method run → behavior run, model method describe → behavior describe, model method history → behavior history, and the same word for create, get, edit, delete, validate, evaluate, search, cancel, output and type.
Acceptance
- README and
design/examples useswamp behavior …, except where a passage is specifically about the legacy spelling or compatibility. - A search for
swamp modelacrossREADME.md,design/andagent-constraints/returns only those compatibility passages. - Skill evals cover the behavior spelling wherever they cover the model one.
