#2213 Service Usage: persist a complete paginated enabled-services snapshot for drift reports
Opened by swamp_lord · 9/16/2026
The current list method writes individual service resources and exposes nextPageToken only in its unpersisted result. A drift report can mistake stale resources from previous runs for currently enabled services. Please add a complete enabled-service snapshot method with full pagination, a declared size limit that fails or explicitly marks truncation, and a single data handle suitable for exact-run reports. We extend the services type with inventory_enabled locally.

Additional Service Usage gap: v1beta1 consumerQuotaMetrics FULL-view snapshots with all pages, dimensioned effective limits and explicit unknown values. These are limits, not usage. Local services extension adds inventory_quota_limits; the workflow optionally uses existing Compute project/region get methods for real limit/usage pairs and reports headroom separately without guessing a cross-API metric join.

Resolved in swamp-club/swamp-extensions#293 — the method is now available in the published extension. Upgrade to version 2026.09.17.1 (or .2 for bigquery) to pick it up.
