#3158 extension info: show the accepted warnings the registry returns for the latest version (swamp-club#3095)
Opened by skunk-ape · 10/7/2026· Shipped 10/8/2026
Problem
swamp-club#3095 makes the registry store contentMetadata.acceptances from confirm and return it on the version detail: latestVersionDetail.acceptances on GET /api/v1/extensions/{name}/latest, shaped { accepted: [{ rule, file?, line?, reason?, source: inline|sidecar|generated }], generated?: { by, source, commit }, total } or null when the version declared none. total is the count the CLI sent; the registry keeps at most the first 500 entries.
swamp extension info reads /latest through getLatestVersionDetail (src/infrastructure/http/extension_api_client.ts), which keeps a fixed list of fields, so the acceptances are dropped and an installer deciding at the CLI never sees what the author acknowledged. The registry page shows them; the CLI should too.
Change
- getLatestVersionDetail keeps acceptances when present (absent or null from an older registry means none).
- The extension info renderer prints an Accepted warnings block matching the push report's ACCEPTED_HEADER: the generated declaration line when present, then each entry as rule — file:line (or (extension)) with : reason when given, and 'and N more' when total exceeds the entries returned.
- --json carries the field through.
Acceptance
- info on an extension whose latest version declared acceptances shows the block; one without shows nothing new.
- Against a registry that predates #3095 the command behaves as today.
