#3270 Windows: extension rm joins repo dir with already-absolute bundle path

Opened by stack72 · 10/12/2026

swamp extension rm on a pulled extension produces a double-prefixed path like C:\Users[REDACTED]\repo\C:\Users[REDACTED]\repo.swamp\bundles\hash\file.js, causing os error 123 (invalid path syntax). The CLI joins the repo directory with the bundle path but the bundle path is already absolute on Windows. 1 UAT failure in extension/lifecycle/rm_test.ts (cleans up the bundle file on disk). Discovered via Windows UAT runner swamp-uat#363.

Closing as test infra. The bundlePath from doctor extensions is a correct absolute native path. The test in rm_test.ts uses bp.startsWith("/") to detect absolute paths which misses Windows C:\ paths. Fix belongs in swamp-uat.
