#2541 whoami reports an active trial ending on a collective with a paid Team subscription

swamp auth whoami --json reports an active 30-day trial, with an end date, on a collective I pay for on the Team plan. It's the only Team collective on my account; I can share the slug privately.

subscriptionStatus is active, but the same entry also carries a trial in state active that ends 2026-10-17.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a collective. A trial starts, with trigger collective_created.
2. Subscribe that collective to the paid Team plan.
3. Run swamp auth whoami --json and look at the collective's collectiveEntitlements entry.

Expected

After the collective has an active paid subscription, trial is null, or its state is something other than active (for example converted), and there's no endsAt counting down.

Actual

trial.state is active, with daysRemaining: 22 and endsAt 2026-10-17. Anyone reading whoami, or a tool acting on its output, concludes that the collective's Team features lapse on that date. That affects decisions like which collective should own private extensions.

• #1852 (shipped) stopped product actions from granting trials to collectives that already pay. This case is different: the trial was granted when the collective was created, and it wasn't closed when the paid subscription started. I haven't checked whether collective_created goes through the same gate.
• #1728 (open) is the UI symptom: a "TRIAL ENDED" modal shown to Team-plan users. If anything acts on this endsAt, I'd expect the same modal on 2026-10-17.
• #1544 (shipped) added the trial status to whoami.
