There is no how-to guide covering how to run swamp serve or swamp worker as a system daemon via daemon enable. The --user flag, --cache-dir, service management (status, disable), and platform differences (launchd on macOS, systemd on Linux) are undocumented.

Context

Filed during triage of #1414 — the daemon commands exist but have no user-facing documentation, which contributes to debugging difficulty when setup goes wrong.

An empty stored apiKey counts as authenticated — saveIdentityCache writes apiKey:'' on a virgin machine, permanently satisfying the mandatory-account gate with no credential
